An explorer both above and below the sea, she is constantly traversing the world, participating in new experiences, and sharing her love of the Earth with people around the globe. Her role in the Ocean Futures Society has helped draw the organization’s recognition in Europe and raise awareness for the Cousteau mission of protecting the sea and its treasures.

The keynote speaker on sustainability, Céline travelled from the USA to deliver the keynote address at the BlueZoneForum Incubazul in Cádiz. She addressed up to 700 attendees about ocean preservation and sustainability and the role women can play in Andalucia’s initiative in the Blue Economy and contribute to the circular economy.

The Blue Zone Forum brings together administrations, institutions, organizations, and companies of different origins and with different responsibilities in promoting and developing companies’ innovation in the Blue Economy.

Sr. Iñigo de la Serna, former Minister of Public Works and Transport in Spain, is a prominent figure in sustainable urban development and transportation innovation in the Mediterranean corridor. His expertise has shaped numerous impactful infrastructure projects across Europe.

He became eager to promote cooperation between the private and public sectors regarding the development of sustainable, modern cities. 

This led to his founding of the Spanish Network of Small Cities where he held the presidency for four years. Sr. de la Serna delivered the main keynote speech at the World Sustainability Transport Day in Lisbon.
