    Tania Aidrus is a Rayn Group co-founder. This is a technology advisory and investment holding company. Before starting the venture, she was an advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, putting together a framework for the company’s route to digitisation, making her the architect of the country’s five-pillar digitisation strategy.

    Before this, Tania Aidrus spent eleven years working for Google in the U.S. and Singapore. She became Director of Product Management for Neû Billion Users and Payments. Her responsibility included digitising payments in emerging markets, specifically in countries taking the leap from cash to digital. She also played a key role in the product strategy for the roll-out of GPay across multiple countries. In this role, she was instrumental in developing strategies and products to expand digital access and financial inclusion for underserved communities worldwide. The **NBU initiative** focused on bringing internet access, digital services, and technological innovations to emerging markets. She also played a crucial role in Google’s efforts to **scale digital payment solutions** in these regions.

    Her time with Google also saw her start the company’s business in South Asia frontier markets like Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, leading these teams as the Country Manager.

    Besides being co-founder of the Rayn Group, Tania Aidrus was also instrumental in founding ClickDiagnostiy, a mobile health diagnosis company, and consulted for various private and public sector organisations while at Booz Allen Hamilton.

    Tania Aidrus holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BSc from Brandeis University.
