Dr. Linda Yueh is a Fellow in Economics at St Edmund Hall, Oxford University. She is also an Adjunct Professor of Economics at the London Business School and a Visiting Professor at LSDE IDEAS at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Associate Fellow at Chatham House, and was a Visiting Professor of Economics at Peking University, China.

An advisor to the UK Board of Trade, Linda Yueh also chairs or is on the board of various societies and institutions. Amongst these, she counts her role as Chair of the Royal Commonwealth Society and Non-Executive Director of various companies on the London Stock Exchange. She also serves on various boards and committees in an advisory capacity, such as the Policy Committee of the Centre for Economic Performance (CEP), and the Advisory Board of LSDE Ideas. Linda is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

A widely published author, Linda Yueh saw her book The Great Economists: How Their Ideas Can Help Us Today selected as The Times’ Best Business Book of the Year. The US version, titled What Would the Great Economists Do? How Twelve Brilliant Minds Would Solve Today’s Biggest Problems was Newsweek’s Best Book of the Year. She is also the editor of the Routledge Economic Growth and Development book series.

Linda Yueh is a television and radio presenter for BBC Radio 4 and the World Service. She has also fronted various BBC TV series, including The New Middle Class, Next Billionaire, and Working Lives. She also served as Chief Business Correspondent for BBC News and as presenter of Talking Business with Linda Yueh for BBC Worlds TV and BBC News Channel in Singapore. Linda was also the Economics Editor and anchor at Bloomberg TV in London.
