Daniela Landherr is a globally recognised architect of corporate culture and a former transformative force at Google, where she served as the Head of Talent Engagement for the EMEA region. With a career defined by building high-performing, psychologically safe environments, she equips C-suite leaders and global organisations with the proprietary frameworks necessary to attract, retain, and inspire top-tier talent in an era of unprecedented disruption. Combining deep behavioural insights with extensive strategic foresight, she bridges the gap between human-centric leadership and measurable commercial success.
During her impactful tenure at Google, Daniela was instrumental in shaping the cultural narrative that enabled the technology giant to scale sustainably while maintaining its renowned innovative edge across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. She spearheaded talent engagement strategies that focused on cultivating authentic leadership, embedding psychological safety into the corporate DNA, and fostering a deep sense of belonging among diverse teams.
Today, as an independent Executive Coach, Board Member, and Strategic Advisor, Daniela leverages her extensive corporate intelligence to guide organisations through complex cultural transformations. She is deeply involved in executive education, serving as a prominent voice at the HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich, where she imparts her expertise on digital leadership and the future of work.
Daniela’s approach to leadership is grounded in the conviction that organisational resilience is intrinsically linked to human empowerment. She utilises advanced frameworks that dismantle silos and encourage collaborative innovation. Her methodologies emphasise “Servant Leadership,” transitioning management paradigms from traditional command-and-control models to coaching and enablement. By operationalising psychological safety, she ensures that teams are not only equipped to handle rapid digital transformation but are actively driving it.
We had the pleasure to welcome Daniela Landherr as guest lecturer for the Introduction to Management course at ETH Zurich. Daniela gave a presentation about the importance of people and culture for innovation. We appreciated Daniela's rich experience and enjoyed her engaging way of talking about people and HR. Her insights about team effectiveness, e.g. the role of psychological safety, and the principles of innovation culture, e.g. think bigger, are extremely valuable for every (nascent) business leader. Daniela, thank you very much for the great guest lecture!
I had the honor of welcoming Daniela Landherr as a guest lecturer in my bachelor's seminar on "Work Motivation and Job Satisfaction" in the department of Work and Organizational Psychology at the University of Zurich. She gave a talk on "The Power of Psychological Safety" in which her rich experiences from her professional life provided valuable insights for my students. In this sense, her positive attitude was contagious, with her natural ability to inspire and motivate standing out in particular. Many thanks for for the great guest lecture!
