    Cecilia MoSze Tham is the founder and current principal at Futurity Studio. It is a research and design development studio based in Barcelona, Spain. She joined Alpha Telefonica in 2018 as the Senior Social Technologist and Futures Synthesist. Her role involved matching deep tech technology to solve global challenges with viable business models for the future.

    A serial entrepreneur, Cecilia MoSze Tham has founded multiple companies like MOB, Makers of Barcelona, FabCafe, and allwomen.tech. The latter is an AI training school for women by women to build the next generation of women in tech.

    Cecilia MoSze Tham was a fellow at the Global Solutions Program s at Singular University where she focused on applying exponential technologies in finding impactful and meaningful solutions for global challenges at NASA Ames Research Centre, Mountain View California. She also filled the role of Singularity University Barcelona Chapter Ambassador.

    With a Master’s degree in architecture from Harvard and a degree in biology from Emory University, Cecilia MoSze Tham is the recipient of the Wheelwright Travelling Fellowship and the Faculty Design Award from Harvard University. She is currently a senior adjunct of the faculty of Parsons New School Global Executive Master for Strategic Design and Management and a visiting faculty member for the Social Innovation Programme at Toulouse Business School.

    These days on the advisory board of the UN World Food Programme and BIDLab, she is a former member of the advisory board for the city government of Barcelona. She also served on various executive advisory boards for, amongst others, Barcelona Global, SWAN, and the City Government of Barcelona.

    Someone who regularly contributes to or appears in various media, her publication Hackable Cities, written together with students at Parsons New School, won the Design for Well Being Award in 2015. She is the recipient of the Creative Entrepreneur of the year award in 2017, Design for Wellbeing Award Recipient, and a Harvard Wheelwright Scholar.
