Caroline Casey is an award-winning social entrepreneur, visionary business leader, and the architect behind the world’s most powerful corporate disability inclusion movement. Leveraging her extensive experience in management consulting and global advocacy, she provides C-suite executives with the strategic foresight required to embed systemic inclusion into organisational frameworks. As a catalyst for transformational change, Casey challenges the international business community to recognise that authentic inclusion is not merely a corporate social responsibility initiative, but a fundamental driver of economic performance, market expansion, and structural innovation.
Driven by a profound personal narrative and a rigorous background as a management consultant at Accenture, Caroline launched The Valuable 500 at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos. This ambitious initiative successfully secured public, binding commitments from 500 multinational CEOs—representing global revenues of over $8 trillion and employing more than 20 million people—to place disability inclusion directly on their board agendas. Her proprietary framework disrupts traditional diversity models by focusing strictly on top-down leadership accountability, ensuring that disability is integrated into the core strategy of global enterprises rather than being sidelined as an HR metric.
Registered legally blind, Caroline spent the first 17 years of her life unaware of her visual impairment, and the subsequent decade concealing it to advance her corporate career. This unique perspective has fuelled her lifelong mission to dismantle the stigma surrounding disability in the workplace. Today, she is an Ashoka Fellow, a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, and sits on the diversity advisory boards of major international corporations, including L’Oréal and Sanofi.
