He has also taught International Law at the School of International Studies at American University in Washington, DC. Additionally, he has served as a consultant for the World Bank and a senior advisor at PFC Energy, focusing on the oil, gas, and renewables sectors. His experience also includes a role as Deputy Executive Director for the Washington, DC, office of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS-US). Currently, he is a member of the international advisory board for the Asia-Scotland Institute and serves as an advisor to Concordia.
